Peugeot 206 beeping noise whilst driving

Car: Peugeot 206
Variant: 2.0 HDI D Turbo
Model Year: 2000
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Hi, anyone know how to fix this problem.

I have a peugeot 206 3dr 2.0 diesel HDI D Durbo year 2000 year 2000 (W reg) and whilst driving at any speed (icluding up to national speed limit), the car sometimes makes a beeping sound from under the steering wheel, with/without the cd player connected(which is brand new btw) My interior light works fine, and the sensors are ok, it doesnt flash whilst driving (as if a door is open) so its not this problem. Its just simply beeping when driving beeping one after the other, no lights on dash, no faults with car, flew through MOT and serviced fine. Any recommendations about what the beeping could mean?

it could be a bonnet switch or tailgate switch. Having just attempted to awnser another post by yourself it seems you have a number of issues. Dodgy wiring somewhere could be the cause of all of your faults.

depending on model there is a bonnet switch which sits in the catch and from memory i think the boot switch is part of the boot lock. These may not be the fault though!! Merely suggestions based on experience. Good luck
