Peugeot 206 sump gasket or sealent???

Variant: 1.4 manual
Model Year: 2001

My 206 has had its sump removed as had a leak will be being put back together on tuesday, to reseal have been told by one spares dealer its a gasket and by another its a silicone sealent if anyone knows what of the two is best or is the correct one would be very grateful.

Try to order a gasket from your Peugeot dealer, if they say it's not available then the answer is sealant.
