Using about a litre every 3/4 weeks any help appreciated to the cause car runs ok no warning lights

Depends on mileage , any leaks , blue smoke ?

Seen a lot of complaints on this with using a litre of oil in 1000 mls or less being normal on a lot of cases . Not familiar with that engine , but could check for a PCV valve / crankcase breather and check it is clear as if problematic can build up excessive pressure in engine
