Nissan Primera stiff clutch

Car: Nissan Primera
Variant: 2.0 SE
Model Year: 1998
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
The clutch becomes extremely stiff when it is below 5 degrees C. It takes a few seconds to release back up once fully depressed. i know clutches normally get a little stiffer in cold conditions but this is much more than the norm.
