Have an intermittent problem in so much some days the key turns electric works but engine doesn't turn over. Have to retry.No pattern to the problem

Get the battery terminals and clamps cleaned up to bare shiny metal.
I've found that many Japanese vehicles suffer from bad battery connections.

When it happens try moving gear selector into park / neutral .
