Nissan Elgrand battery?

Car: Nissan Elgrand
Model Year: 1998
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Whilst driving around roundabouts my automatic car 'dies', I then need to pop the bonnet and wiggle the battery, after which the car normally starts but with the engine warning light glowing on the dash. The battery appears to not fit properly on the holding plate. Do I need a new battery or is the problem with the alternator? The battery is not flat.

The battery is obviously not the correct size or rating for the car and should be secured. As far as it cutting out, maybe there is a lose connection somewhere.
