Nissan Elgrand engine check light on and vehicle does not rev. limp mode

After removing the air filter housing to clean the air filter, on replacing everything back the engine light came on and vehicle couldn't rev. I have replaced the airflow sensor still have the same problem.

Rather than guess and replace parts needlessly , scan it for fault codes and see what has triggered the light .

Check everything is correctly fitted and that wiring terminals are secure in multi plug ,as you may have built in the fault .
