Mitsubishi Shogun bluetooth mobile telephone connection not working.

Can no longer make / receive calls on mobile phone. Bluetooth music from phone plays ok through car radio system. Car radio and other functions all appear to work ok. Garage says they think there is a problem with both front speakers in the car, and want to replace them for over £800!
