" Re: Rear door lock
Its the spring on the inside of the handle binding up
the way i do it is to repeatedly bang on the outer casing untill the handle isnt floppy {dont push the handle in just feel it } then unlock the door and open it
remove all the inner panels to gain access to the inside of the door handle and you will see the return spring for the handle probally all rusty
soak in oil while operating the handle loads of times
you will feel the handle suddenly start returning to normal
once you get to that stage you can grease the spring and box it all up
by the way the reason the door doesnt open is that the handle is still depressed due to the spring return seizing so the lock doesnt unlock and you end up trying to open a locked door
if you have no joy with banging the rear outer handle repeatedly then try to spray wd40 via a straw into the outer handle there is a small gap when the handle is fully depressed to put the straw in and spray you might get lucky and lubricate the spring that way "
