Mitsubishi Pajero gearbox oil leak

There is oil dripping out from the gearbox, what could be wrong?
Is it an easy cheap fix?

You need to get underneath , clean off leaking oil and run it to see location where oil is leaking from .Impossible to tell what is involved without more info .
