Mitsubishi L200 boost problem

Car: Mitsubishi L200

Intermitant boost problem, managment light comes on and lose power. Changed boost control valve as that was the code on diagnostic code reader, been fine for a few weeks but the problem has returned. Somtimes restarting the engine resets the fault, been told to try adjusting the actuator screws to the correct pressure but not tried that yet

have you tried checking the vaccume pressurefrom the pump as a drop in vaccume caused by pin hole in vacc pipe could cause this.any drop or raise in vacc pressure can affect boost pressure try inspecting all pipes on all circuits if vacc pump pressure ok. see if pressure comeing out of pump is the same as pressure at wastgate

look at MAF sensor... unplug it and drive if it goes like stink and behaves.... theres your problem.
normally power is only lost with these sensors or turbocharger faults!!! start with the easy ones!!!
