Mitsubishi L200 slight missfire

Variant: 4x4
Model Year: 2002

have a slight missfire at 2000-3000 rpm.
both timing and balance shaft belts have been replaced but timing marks have been checked and all ok, but have found front damper pulley has excessive play/movement,allso now engine light onw on will damper pulley cause problem .

ive replaced the balance shaft belt on my dads L200 and timing belt and havnt experienced any problems as such so i would say yes to the pulley damper all can say is replace and see if the misfire goes away the best place to try for these parts is milner 4x4 based in matlock www.milneroffroad.co.uk
