Mitsubishi L200
starts up - lights stay on, indicators and windscreen wipers and most windows dont work

The other day returning to home, all of sudden the steering went heavy, the indicators failed along with all of the windows except the driver window. The windscreen wipers failed too as it was starting to rain. When I start it now, the steering is heavy as if the power steering has failed and the main lights are on even though the lights on the steering column are in the off position. Most of the electrics are no longer functioning - any thoughts on where to start, I've checked the fuses and they check out ok

Test your battery , check voltage . Load test your alternator , check charging rate

More than likely a low / flat battery . Check voltage , charge , replace if needed or jump start
