Mitsubishi L200 engine check light remaining on

engine check light comes on, vehicle operates in a safe mode( third gear), slow to take off, no power, D light flashes. Later next day D stops flashing, power returns, engine check light remains on. Already changed speed sensors, problem stopped but has returned, dealer not sure what the problem is.

No fault codes showing when dealership carries out diagnostic scan ?

I'd suggest the problem is in your gear box,
and if the dealer is drawing blank the look for your local automatic g/box specialist.
There's one in most major cities.
Try Yell under automatic transmissions/gearbox.
