The bolts (M10x240) that holds the motor & gearbox together keeps breaking. Straight off at the nut.
I’ve used original bolts, 10.9 bolts and now latest 8.8 bolts. But they just lasts for 150-200km before they breaks….
I have new original bolts coming next week but it’s not working to change bolts every week…..any body that have experience the same problem and have an idea of how to get rid of the problem???
We have changed the motor cushions, I had an idea that if the motor/gearbox was rocking to hard it could stress the bolts to much, but it seems it became even worse after that.

No idea on that car , never done one . Only very , very rare time I've had that problem on other makes was caused by locating dowel pins missing , but whether there are any on that box I dont know

Hi, I recently purchased a 2010 Microcar MGO and have the exact same problem with bolts breaking. It's in the garage for repair as i write this reply. the garage told me everything underneath the gear train is just hanging there and also the car isn't engaging forward or reverse, which i was told by another garage the car is ticking over too high when in neutral. That has now been adjusted but still have the same problem. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? and does it sound like both issues are connected?
