My MG ZS Petrol Auto had a serious defect with the brakes system, where the brakes completely fail with no way of stopping, despite pushing the brake paddle all the way down. After doing some digging this is a known defect on ZS models including petrol and electric however MG has not made a recall given the serious nature of the issues. I nearly crashed with my family in the car. MG dealership kept the car for nearly a month with no courtesy vehicle provided and very poor customer service.
60 miles on the clock and major brake failure is shameful with no ethics and support from the dealership. Avoid MG as there are major faults on other models. AA had confirmed they have been dealing with MG Brake failures and other serious faults on most of the Models more specifically ZS and HS on a daily basis, AA also confirmed to me during my MG ZS recovery that most of the Major Brake failure issues have been recurring on NEW MG models despite the car being sent to the dealership for the same fault 3 times. Avoid MG!
