After contacting Glyn Hopkin Bedford on Monday 16th of October to try and get my car looked at due to the clutch not feeling right I was advised my car couldn’t be booked in until 17th of November. On Thursday the 19th of october my car completely broke down in the supermarket car park. The AA were called and unfortunately after two hours not one single MG dealer would agree to take our vehicle. The AA contacted Cambridge Peterborough St Albans, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Corby and all dealers refused to accept our car. I contacted MG head office. I was advised that the best method at this time would be to make a complaint to motor code, I was also advised no garage should be allowed to refuse our vehicle. The AA decided to take my car to Glyn Hopkin in Milton Keynes. My car was towed away. After my car was towed away and I walked home without a vehicle. I have tried on several attempts to speak to the garage. I have left multiple voicemails, pleading for someone to call me to advise what was happening , I didn’t receive one single call back.
Finally today I got an update to say I need a new clutch, fork and kit!! This fault is clearly known by MG and I’m just praying they’ll do the right thing and help with my repair. I’m considering contacting motor ombudsman to see if they can help. 25k miles and 2.5 years old! MG need to take accountability for what is clearly a fault with their cars from production.

Depending on what was wrong with the clutch fork , if part failure it would help your case if they try and say it was " wear and tear " clutch wear . A lot of clutch related complaints with that vehicle . I wish you good luck in your claim against them

Evening my ZS is two years old and has 28k and needs a new clutch already !!!
