MG ZS my mg zs has an electrical issue.

Purchased used in January 2023 we had an issue. Had a long Journey (300+ miles) in march . We then didnt use the car for a few days. On next use found that the car wouldnt start Called out AA who said the battery was complely flat and the battery needed re-charging but was also recording a constant leak so changed So they replaced the battery. This got the car started. In June after anorhe 300+ mile journey we had a similar issue. AA towed me to the local MG dealer and the "module"? was replaced.
Auguat after a 400+ we have the radio issue again. Im now nervous about driving long distances. Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it?

You need to get battery and alternator both LOAD tested and voltage , charging rate checked . If all o.k , needs checked for a parasitic drain

I have had a similar problem. We bought our MG ZS in March 2023 and recently the battery has discharged twice. I have jump started it on both occasions. I mentioned this to the MG dealer on 25/3/25 when I had the annual service, but they couldn't find anything wrong. The battery hasn't discharged again yet, but I expect it to. The MG dealer has told me if it happens again to call MG Assist and get it towed to the dealer where they will try again to find the problem. Also, my radio has stopped working on occasions, and I get an unexplained seatbelt warning when I first start the car.
