MG ZR abs and hand break lights on

i changed the front wheel on the passager side for the spare one its not a space saver just a normal steel wheel,since doing so when i applyed the brecks the abs and hand breck warning lights came on i have removed said wheel and see nothing wrong and replaced wheel now i have a little grinding when hard brecking and even when i just drive around taking it easy on the old girl the steel wheel get very hot and the nuts on it are too hot too touch...hope that made somesort of sense lol please helllpppp....

If it's a different size wheel / tyre , that could cause light to come on . Sure it's the right wheel for car and not fouling somewhere causing noise and overheating ? Could as be brake fault but I would eliminate that wheel firstly by changing over to other side or fitting correct wheel and seeing if fault now occurs there . Also check brake fluid level . If you want to try that and get back to forum if still having trouble , someone will advise further .

good idea will try it on the other side to see what happens i have loosened that caliper off a little but that did nout...ill be back soon cheers

You dont loosen brake callipers off !!!!!!!!
