Mercedes Benz C Class accelerator pedal

Model Year: 2000
just found my accelerator pedal wouldn't depress. it did eventually and is driving ok now but any suggestions as to what the problem may be.. thanks all..

assume your car has a cable lubricate linkage and pedal also remove inlet trunking and make sure throttle butterfly is free and not sticking on some carbon deposits in housing (common problem on some fords)

My rear driver side door opens from the inside so passengers can get out. But it wont open from the outside. have to put hand around centre door column to open with the lever on the inside. any suggestions as to what it may be.. thank u in advance
