Land Rover Freelander radiator cooling fans not switching off

car warms up as normal then fans cut in and wont go off temp gauge drops to zero

check the connections on the coolant sensors on the engine if they are poor of faulty sensors could cause the fans to come on as a safety precaution to stop the engine overheating
