Land Rover Freelander rattling noise when engine cold and put into gear on start up after engine warms its fine what could it be

Could be the thrust bearing on the way out...

Being an automatic , it wont be the clutch thrust bearing , it doesn't have one .If it's coming from the g/box , could be the flex plate starting to go . If it's coming from engine , sounds like oil circulation problem .Could try an engine oil and filter change , using a good / correct grade of oil .
