Kia Stonic unpleasant smell

2weeks ago I opened the car and found a very unpleasant smell inside.I took it to a car valet co.and they checked in car and boot and found nothing.They shampooed seats ,mats and carpets and this helped - but next morning the smell had returned.Could there be some mechanical fault that could cause this problem.thx

Could be a water leak causing damp smell ,will require stripped out and water tested

Check your cabin / pollen filter
