Hate to say it , but the statement " most cars with power steering all have uneven tyre wear there is no cure for this " is totally wrong , otherwise nearly every car on the road would be suffering from this. Apart from that , the motor industry would have found an an answer to it long ago . Power steering does not cause tyre wear , it only makes it easier to turn .Almost all cars nowadays , and for years now , have PAS and they dont suffer from excessive tyre wear like yours at 5918 MLS unless there is something out on steering geometry or you spend all day driving round roundabouts or corners!!.The wear is caused by the wheels not running straight and scrubbing tyres .This is from Kia forum on the subject of excessive tyre wear but is not for your car , but gives you the gist of the fault

newest update! strange tire wear! It is an alignment issue, after contacting Kia and making several complaints regarding the extreme inside edge tire wear. They contacted me stating they had ordered special bolts that would allow the camber to be adjusted properly . The alignment would be done at no charge due to the low mileage on the vehicle. hope this helps everyone.

strange tire wear latest update! . Kia has realesed special bolts to allow the frt camber to be adjusted properly and have also relesed special adjustable rear tie bar assemblies to allow the the rear camber to be adjusted properly. Once these updated components are installed the alignment can be corrected . This should dramatically improve the the wear and life of the tires on the vehicle. I am booking my Rondo into the dealer this week to get these updated parts installed and alignment corrected.
