Jeep Cherokee location of the stamped chassis no on the chassis

A friend of mine had his Jeep in for the NCT (Irish equivalent of the MOT)yesterday and whilst it passed, the tester wanted to see where the Chassis number was stamped on the Chassis / body of the Vehicle before he would issue the Disc. It is not on the Bulkhead or on the Floor in front of either of the two front seat's. It is on a sticker on one of the Pillar's and showing through the Windscreen but the Tester was not satisfied with this. Can anyone nominate where it is located please as John can then return for a "visual" and will be issued with his NCT Disc.
