2009 Jaguar X-Type getting stuck in gear

My automatic gearbox gets stuck in gear and what looks like the heater plug light come on the dash along with the yellow warning light. If I turn the engine off and restart it's good to go in till the next time

Jaguar recommend10 years or 150,000 miles to change the oil in the 'sealed for life' gearbox. Might solve the problem , if not it needs scanned for fault codes
