If a 2022 , get it back ASAP to dealership for fixing under warranty

5 times in 15 months my 1.6 petrol Tucson went back to the dealership for a forced regeneration the first time was after only 600 miles on the clock, I have tried advice given by the dealership including Hyundai's official guidance, wasting copious amounts of fuel and time on a futile attempts to rectify or stop this happening all to no avail. Hyundai's response is that there is nothing wrong with the car it's my driving style, I didn't realize that for the last 40 years my style of driving was not suitable for the open road, Hyundai are not interested in looking after there customers SO BEWARE don't waste you hard earned cash on one of these. Thank God I have got rid of mine in over 40 years of driving and a mixture of both new and used cars it's got to be the worst overall experience that I have ever had.

Having same issue with my other half’s 22 plate N line Tucson, two forced regenerations in last six weeks apparently driving style! Yet my car ( same model) does exactly the same route (near as Damn it), same speed on motorway yet mine doesn’t have the same issue… mmm, odd!
Sounds like a known fault that they don’t want to tackle!!! Or is that me being cynical!! Oh and the dealer actually said “We’ve done it free of charge!” The cars not even a year old and has done a little over 7000 miles!

Had the same problem with our 72plate non hybrid manual after 2700 miles. Drove the car at between 2500 and 4000 rpm for over 30 minutes as suggested in the owners handbook on 3 occasions to no avail. I did some research on gpf filters and found they are cleared by oxygen gushing through the exhaust system. To achieve this I drove the car in 3rd gear up to 4000 rpm then released the accelerator for few seconds, this cuts off the fuel supply allowing air to rush through the exhaust. I continued to repeat this process and after 13 miles and 22 minutes driving the warning light went out. Prior to this I had noticed the fuel consumption worsening, it has now improved to the same as when the car was first delivered.

Yes I have the same problem 9000 miles warning light came on 11 month from new.. garage cleared the problem. Now 23 months from new the same filter problemm occurred hence I’ve drove for one hour at 60 mpg at 3,500 revs…but light remained on.
Great for the environmental not to mention petrol and wear and tear costs! Understand that older diesel Tucson cars had a similar problem now it is remains with new petrol hybrid engines. Taking into garage but no space for another two weeks..advised to use breakdown services meantime!

Having same issue but with the N line version bought May 23 and has now twice had the same exhaust filter light fault, runs poorly and have to do a 60 mile round trip including motorway driving revving the nuts off it at high revs as per the Hyundai booklet instructions in order to clear it takes about 28 miles for me to clear the fault before turning around and coming home, very fed up and annoyed by this, waste of fuel, time and cant exactly be environmentally friendly, assuming the filter is there for environmental purposes, if I could suss out where it is id rip the thing out and leave it out. Had booked it in to the dealer who we purchased from but was a 7 week wait to be seen, we were also promised free collection when we bought it for services etc but the response was no were far to busy you will have to bring it here and leave it here for the whole day so I have to lose a days wages to add to my frustration. Its a shame as I actually like the car but went new as I didnt want any more car issues for a couple of years at least.
