Dependent on your type of usage , miles per year , could be fine for quite a while as only an advisory and not a failed item on minimum thickness .Might find if you get a second opinion on wear from someone else if concerned to confirm or not . Up to you if you intend to keep the car for a while and would feel safer replacing pads , not a major job . I have often had similar with cars coming into workshop and on inspection have informed customer the pads are fine for thousands of miles and to leave till later before replacing . But always better to be safe with brakes

Have a look and see if any wire going to pads , check if you have a wear indicator warning light which is operational
