Not an auto electrician but if it's running lights you have fitted , why dont you tap into side light circuit ?

I HAVE HAD ONE REPLY, TRIED WIRING INTO SIDELIGHTS, BUT IT DOES NOT COME ON WITH THE IGNITION TURNED ON. I HAVE TO TURN LIGHTS ON. THIS IS WIRING FROM THE BATTERY TERMINAL FUSE BOX TO DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS. hOW CAN I WIRE THEMINTO THE IGNITION/?

That was a stupid reply now I think about it .You could check fuses with a test lamp and see what circuits are through ignition and tap into one.
