Hyundai i10 rubbing noise when engaging gears as if fan belt is slipping

As far as I'm aware it's a serpentine belt on that car driving more than the alternator .If belt slipping you usually get the noise when car stationary and revving engine . Only thought would possibly be clutch release bearing but total guess
