When the seat belt is properly connected the warning alarm sounds on an intermittent basis

Could check connections / wiring under front seats .

I have a similar problem on my 1.3 CDX - the warning light flashes all the time and I get an annoying loud 'beep' for about 2 minutes. It haas been suggested that the connection to the seat-belt socket might be at fault - how can I check it?
