Hyundai Getz clicking noise from front as i turn a bend

Car: Hyundai Getz
Variant: 1.5 crtd
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
When going round a roundabout, or turn into a road I hear a clicking noises from front left by the wheel, I had checked it out by a garage he said its the wheel bearing as he jacked the car up and pushed/pulled the wheel from left to right which had a play in, I had asked him to test drive the car for him to hear the clicking noise, as I always thought that was the cv joint noise (few weeks ago my gater had split and put a new one), and the wheel bearing sound is like a roaring sound, which isnt the case with my car

USUALLY a clicking noise IS the c/v joint worn , especialy if it had thrown the grease due to spilt gaiter .Try twisting the shaft at joint and check for wear .If the bearing was knackered , you should get wear up and down also apart from left to right , in fact it should move in all directions .
