Honda Civic scraping noise

Model Year: 1991
There is a scraping noise from the passenger side rear wheel at low speeds and also when i touch the breaks. The car has been into a Honda dealership and i have been told that the front near side sensor is broken the part number is 57455 5H3 N82 this part has been discontinued i am wondering if this is causing the problem

Would think sensor on front wheel unlikely to cause noise at rear.Interested to hear how this would come about as always learning something new every day with cars !!!
