Honda Accord rear brake piston

Car: Honda Accord
Model Year: 1999
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
To fit new pads to the rear caliper the piston has to be wound in there is a specialist tool for this job.
Do I really need the tool or is there an easier way and which way do they wind in? clockwise or counter.
Cheers, any advice is welcome.

there is a special tool its round with 4 spikes.wound clockwise on both sides.you can use a pry bar or very large screwdriver place in one of the piston slots press hard and screw in.can be easier if caliper is connected to car by one mounting bolt, saves on the hands if screwdriver slips
