What was it charging at ?

are u touching the glass of the bulb when u put them in? if u r then it could be because they r halogen bulbs and when they r touched they get a grease spot and over time they burn out.

If this was a charging problem I wouldn't expect it to always affect the same lamp and not the others. As pockets1984 said, don't touch the glass when you fit the bulb. Also always buy your bulbs from a reliable source ie main dealer, some cheaper import ones won't last you to the end of the road.
