Ford Puma
gears become hard to shift after driving around 10 miles.
Car: Ford Puma Variant: ST Line X 155 Vignale Model Year: 2023
Categories:
Gearbox & Clutch
After driving off, shifting the gear lever is as slick as normal and there is no problem. After around 10 miles, the lever becomes stiff and needs a hard shove to get into gear. This issue remains until the end of the journey. Next morning, the problem does not occur again until around 10 miles again.
This may be rusting gearbox linkages that jam when they heat up and expand.

Never seen that except on very much older vehicles , certainly not on a 2023 vehicle .
Car is under warranty , up to dealership to remedy
