Ford Puma clutch

Car: Ford Puma
Variant: manual
Model Year: 2021
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
After 3 months, my new Puma's clutch failed totally on a busy motorway. I managed to nurse it to a place of safety but am now told it is not covered by warranty as it is "driver error". The dealership will repair it at my expense but I am in dispute that it is my fault. They can show me the worn part but cannot accept my assertion that it is a manufacturer fault. How can I prove otherwise?

Unless you can show defective parts or many other cases of clutch failure , which I have not heard of , don't know how you can .

So they can say what they like and I can't prove anything! Thought that would be the case!

Having ran different franchise dealerships , this is normal procedure . I have had "driver error". cases before and the customer was always insistent they were not at fault . If there was any doubt I would have replaced f.o.c and claimed back under warranty from the manufacturers . Knowing the claim would be rejected meant this could not be done .
