Ford Mondeo flapping noise when u take your foot off the accelerator above 30 mph

Car: Ford Mondeo
Variant: 1.8 petrol
Model Year: 2002
the noise sounds like a playing card in the spokes of a bike wheel, louder when u go above 30 mph, only occurs when u take your foot off the power, can only hear it inside the car, not from the outside. the noise does go when u put the cluth in at first then its back????????? realy have no idea

Have a look at te auxillary belt it may be frayed or disintigrating with a belt strand striking the cambelt cover etc
