Ford Mondeo worn shocks

Car: Ford Mondeo
Variant: 2.0 tdci
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Leaks & Noises
hi guys i replaced the rear shock absorbers in my 2005 ford mondeo 8 months ago and last week i noticed that the car is very unstable when i travel over bumps so i took the car to my local ford garage and they went through all the back suspension and told me that the problem is worn drop links causing the rattling noise and that one of the shocks are leaking so im just wondering how the shocks could need to be replaced so soon again after 12000km there were not genuine ford shocks they were bought in my local motor factor shop

Shocks should be covered under warranty , get them back for replacement .
