Is the noise only there when driving ? or can you hear it when stationary and engine revved ?

only there when driving speed as low as ten mph no change on different surfaces

When you are driving and flick steering wheel to n/s ( passenger ) or vice versa , does the noise change ? Is the noise there at all speeds from 10 mph upwards ? Certain it's from front and not rear ?

Can understand garages attitude , if it came into my garage , then I would check work already carried out was done correctly .After that , I would jack up car and run the suspected side on jack / axle stand to hear noise and confirm that is the wheel its coming from .You can also then compare it against other " good " side .Not the first time I've had a noise that you would swear was coming from front but was coming from rear .You can also stick car on rolling road / brake tester and run wheels individually to here if noise there .Hope they find cause and its nothing major , Lets know how you get on ?

Just be careful driving car off the deck on axle stand . Sometimes it dosen't show up fault as load is taken off wheel .All the best .
