Ford Mondeo smoking on cold start

Hi new on here,my mondeo tdci st smokes a fair bit from cold start and runs very lumpy but after a while clears and seems to tickover ok.I recently had a new turbo fitted would this cause any of these probs.Sorry dont know a thing about cars Miktee

So many possible causes for this , you would be better getting it checked out with a diesel specialist , cheaper in the long run .
