Ford Mondeo central locking not working .

central locking not working . when you turn the key only the drivers door opens, i have to unlock the others by opening the passengers door. any advice please thank you

a switch that activates the other doors from the drivers door could have failed due to the other doors not opening i would look at this first but also check that there are no wires worn or earthing as ford are common for bad earths you may require a new central locking motor in the drivers door to sort this fault out

The central locking module in the drivers door is very common to fail on Mondeos. Its a pig of a job to do. If you have the remote, get it programed if it doesn't work as every mondeo that Ive had that has your problem works fine off the remote. Just google how to reprogram your Mondeo remote. Its far too much to type on here!
