Ford Mondeo factory fitted sat nav screen saying dvd is not a map dvd

sometimes the map comes up but most of time it says as above

try giving the dvd a clean up and check there is no scratches,if problem still persists then sat nav might be no good

I would say damaged dvd or a fault with the read head inside the unit
