when driving have noticed this light some times comes on flashing and when this happens my turbo doesnt kick in so have lack of power and acceloration

Almost sure when this happens it is usually fault with injectors . Probably best to get it scanned and see what codes are shown .

sounds like a problem with either the fuel pump or the injectors,get your fault codes checked out
