Ford Mondeo loss of performance

my mondeo has developed the following symptoms .upon starting which it does ok it kicks out black smoke .when i try to pull away it is as if it is being starved of fuel bouncing along . the engine itself seems to be reving smooth enough when not moving however when pulling away it jumps and cuts out . when reving there is like a belt whining noise .also the smoke smells diferent to normal exhaust smoke. any ideas ?

check the intake manifold and egr valve are not coked up.is the engine management light on,if so what dtc`s are stored.check air and fuel filters and replace if nessecary,
