Ford Mondeo dash dials delay

Car: Ford Mondeo
Variant: 2.0 TDCI 130
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi,
Ok, i have recently purchased a Ford Mondeo and am having a couple of issues.

One of these issues is that I switch the ignition round to on, all test lights come on as they should, then i turn the key to start the car. when i switch the ignition on, it takes a good 15 to 20 seconds before the rev counter, the speedo and the other gauges switch on. They kind of just jump into postion even if i have already set off on my journey...? Has anyone ever seen this before?

Thanks

Richard

it will be an internal circuit fault in the clocks. very common, either send clocks away for repair, or purchase new from ford and have them recode them to the car... hope this helps!!
