Guys, I have a Ford Maverick 2.0 XLT. It was driving ok until I hit the 4x4 button (at low speed in 1st gear) now the car is juddering at low speed, below 10mph.
When I speed up its fine, when approaching a stop I get a dull knocking sound as if something is catching.
Any ideas???

difficult without inspecting car i would check prop shafts for wear in the universal joints especially the front shaft as a starting point
