Ford Kuga automatic not changing gear

Service notice will appear and then the car won’t change gears automatically.
Can stop and start engine again and will disappear till weeks later and do it again.
Had been service and is showing no faults

Needs scanned with Ford diagnostics which will cover all modules and transmission to retrieve stored fault codes Was the service warning reset after the service ?
