Ford Kuga flicker from dashboard

Had a flickering dashboard since we got it. Worse when in periferal vision. Been to garage twice and Ford have decided that it is a "characteristic'. Really annoying and potentially dangerous as it is distracting

You could ask to see another new Ford Kuga and see if this is the case which seems very strange if this is a known fault and not fixed ,
