Ford Kuga ambient air temp reading low on the dash.

Car: Ford Kuga
Variant: ST line X TDCI
Model Year: 2017
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
The air temp reads very low, between -5 and 5 °. Had the ambient sensor changed by a local garage but it dit not fix the fault and they were clearly not competent to diagnose the problem. It seems that this fault affects the climate control and maybe other systems.

On that vehicle there were problems with water getting into the sensor and wiring / plug which resulted in having to reposition the sensor and in some cases , the front wiring loom also

Hi Roger

I have the same issue, have you managed to get to the root of your issue?

Many thanks
